The Metropolitan Ervin Szabo Library

One of my favourite places in Budapest is the central library in Szabó Ervin square - and not just because i love books and i love to read and when i went to university i spent my whole exam session there :)

This library is special because it's building is the Wenckheim palace, builted from 1887 to 1889 for count Frigyes Wenckheim. The library's most beautiful reading rooms are in the renovated palace - which kept the original interiors.

I always wanted to make some photos, so today i took my chanses - and my camera - and went there to make some experiments. I hope you'll like this little set from this afternoon: [link]
